NOUS FIRE

Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Nous Fire (“Nous Fire,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of individuals who visit our website, submit an entry, or participate in the Nous Fire Constellation practice.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it is handled, and the choices available to you when using our website and services.

Nous Fire is a spiritual and philosophical practice. Participation does not require you to disclose the personal circumstances behind your intention.

By using our website or submitting an entry, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. Where applicable law requires consent for a particular use of your information, we will seek that consent separately.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with Nous Fire, we may collect the following categories of information.

A. Contact Information

When you submit an entry, we collect your email address so that we can associate your entry with you, communicate about your participation, and deliver your completion record.

B. Crown Photograph

The entry process requests a photograph of the crown or top of your head. A photograph of your face is not required.

We use the submitted photograph for the purposes disclosed in connection with the Constellation entry process. We do not use the photograph for facial recognition, biometric identification, or AI-based biometric scanning.

Please avoid including unnecessary identifying details or other people in your photograph.

C. Selected Intention

You select one primary intention for your entry. We use this selection to administer your participation in the Constellation practice.

You are not required to provide a narrative explaining your intention. Please do not submit medical records, financial account details, or other sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your entry.

Although an intention may be personal, its subject matter is your choice. Information you voluntarily provide may reveal sensitive details, so please share only what you are comfortable submitting.

D. Transaction Information

When you purchase an entry, payment-related information is processed to complete the transaction.

Payments may be handled by a third-party payment provider. Where a third party processes your payment, its handling of payment information is also subject to its own applicable privacy policy and terms.

Payments are processed through the payment provider available through our checkout process. Nous Fire does not intentionally store full payment card numbers or security codes. Payment information may be collected and processed by the relevant payment provider in accordance with its privacy policy and security practices.

Tally.so may process information submitted through our entry form. The payment provider, if separate from Tally, handles payment information according to its own terms and privacy policy.

E. Technical and Usage Information

When you visit the website, certain technical information may be collected by the website host, form provider, payment provider, or analytics tools. Depending on the services in use, this may include IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, and website interactions.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information only for legitimate purposes related to operating the website and providing the service, including:

  • Processing and administering your single Constellation entry.

  • Associating your crown photograph and selected intention with your submission.

  • Communicating about your entry when necessary.

  • Sending the completion record to the email address you provide.

  • Processing payments, maintaining appropriate transaction records, and addressing payment disputes.

  • Protecting the website, detecting misuse, and maintaining service integrity.

  • Complying with legal obligations and responding to legitimate legal requests.

We do not promise or imply a spiritual, emotional, medical, financial, or material outcome from your submission.

4. Photograph Use and Restrictions

Your crown photograph is requested as part of the Nous Fire entry process. A facial photograph is not required.

We do not use submitted crown photographs for facial recognition, biometric identification, or AI-based biometric scanning.

We do not publish or use your photograph in marketing materials unless you have separately authorized that use where required by law.

Photographs may be handled by the technical providers necessary to receive, store, or transmit submissions. Their access and processing must be consistent with the actual service configuration and applicable agreements.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information in exchange for money.

We may disclose information to service providers when reasonably necessary to operate the website and deliver the service. These providers may include website hosting, form submission, payment processing, email delivery, security, and technical support services.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect the rights and safety of individuals, or in connection with a legitimate business transfer, subject to applicable legal requirements.

We do not authorize service providers to use your information for purposes unrelated to their contracted services unless otherwise disclosed and legally permitted.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including service fulfillment, maintaining transaction records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations.

Different categories of information may need to be retained for different periods. For example, financial transaction records may be subject to accounting or legal retention requirements.

Photograph retention: 30 days after the practice.

Selected intention retention: 30 days after the practice.

Email and entry records: 365 days after the practice.

Payment and transaction records: Retained for the period required by applicable law and the relevant payment provider's processes.

We do not claim that information is automatically deleted after a specific period unless that deletion process has been implemented and verified.

7. Information Security

We use reasonable measures appropriate to the services and information involved to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

No website, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot promise absolute security.

Access to submitted photographs and intentions should be limited to what is reasonably necessary to administer the service and maintain the systems involved.
